New shops and restaurants celebrate the vibrant culture and spirit of Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fraport USA is bringing a fresh collection of dining, retail and entertainment experiences to Concourse A at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®), further expanding the airport’s award-winning concessions program and creating more opportunities for travelers to experience the spirit of Music City before they even leave the terminal.

As part of BNA’s $855 million Concourse A expansion, slated to open in 2028, Fraport USA has assembled a dynamic portfolio of local, regional and national brands designed to reflect the energy, creativity and hospitality that have made Nashville one of the world’s most recognized destinations. The lineup will give passengers more choices to dine, shop, relax and connect while traveling through BNA, while introducing additional ways for the airport to showcase the businesses, music and culture that define Nashville.

“We are so excited to continue to expand on our award-winning concessions program here at BNA,” said Karl Ebert, Vice President of Operations for Fraport Nashville. “The new Concourse A will feature even more of the best restaurants that Nashville has to offer, while also giving travelers a taste of several different cuisine types. We are also thrilled to have two very new and specific retail stores that will highlight the entire Nashville community and the neighborhoods that define the creative culture this city is known for.”

A Taste of Nashville and Beyond

Travelers on Concourse A will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse mix of food, beverage and retail concepts, including:

  • Chief’s: Country music star Eric Church’s iconic Broadway destination will be reimagined as a full-service airport restaurant, bringing the energy, personality and hospitality of one of Nashville’s most recognizable entertainment venues to BNA.
  • Hawkers: The Florida-based Asian street food restaurant will expand its Nashville presence, offering travelers a vibrant menu inspired by the flavors and dishes of Asia.
  • Burger Republic: A Nashville favorite known for gourmet burgers, creative menu offerings and local craft beer will bring its approachable, distinctly local experience to Concourse A.
  • Dunkin’ After Dark: Dunkin’ will make its BNA debut with an innovative new concept that goes beyond the brand’s traditional coffee-and-doughnuts offering. Featuring all-day coffee service alongside a first-of-its-kind bar concept with alcoholic beverages, Dunkin’ After Dark will give travelers an innovative way to experience the iconic brand.
  • Freshens: Travelers looking for fresh, convenient options will find a selection of healthy fast-casual favorites, including acai bowls, flatbreads and salads designed for passengers on the go.
  • Nashville Remix: More than a traditional travel essentials store, Nashville Remix will combine convenient travel necessities with a bottle shop, tasting bar and photo opportunity, giving passengers another chance to take a piece of Nashville with them.
  • Greatest Hits: A music-inspired apparel and gift shop, Greatest Hits will celebrate Nashville’s deep musical roots through merchandise and memorable gifts. The concept will serve as a sister store to Nashville Jam Session at T-Gates, extending BNA’s commitment to telling the story of Music City through its retail program.

Together, the concepts are designed to create a concessions experience that is as varied and energetic as Nashville itself. From iconic local flavors and globally inspired cuisine to music-driven retail and innovative concepts, Concourse A will offer passengers an experience that goes beyond the traditional airport stop.

Expanding the BNA Experience

The concessions program was developed in close collaboration with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and is part of Fraport USA’s ongoing commitment to creating memorable, locally relevant experiences for BNA passengers. The brands on Concourse A bring together established Nashville favorites, nationally recognized concepts and innovative offerings, providing a balance of familiar brands and distinctly Music City experiences.

The opening of Concourse A will mark another significant milestone in BNA’s continued growth and transformation. As passenger demand continues to increase, the expansion will provide additional capacity while creating additional opportunities to elevate the traveler experience.

For Fraport USA, that means more than simply adding restaurants and retail locations. The concessions program is intended to make the airport a reflection of the community it serves — giving Nashville businesses a platform to reach millions of travelers while introducing visitors to the city’s distinctive culinary, musical and cultural identity.

The new concepts also complement Fraport USA’s broader concessions strategy at BNA, which focuses on creating a thoughtful mix of local businesses, regional favorites and nationally recognized brands. By bringing together different cuisines, price points, retail experiences and service styles, the program is designed to meet the needs of BNA’s diverse and growing passenger base.

“BNA is often a traveler’s first introduction to Nashville and, for many, their last taste of the city before heading home,” said Ebert. “We want every part of that experience to feel authentic to Nashville. Concourse A gives us an incredible opportunity to build on what we have created at BNA and introduce travelers to even more of the people, businesses, music and creativity that make this city so special.”

The lineup represents another step forward in Fraport USA’s vision for an airport concessions program that is not only convenient for travelers but also connected to the community — making the journey through BNA part of the Nashville experience itself.
