New shops and restaurants celebrate the vibrant culture and spirit of Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fraport USA is bringing a fresh collection of dining, retail and entertainment experiences to Concourse A at Nashville International Airport® (BNA®), further expanding the airport’s award-winning concessions program and creating more opportunities for travelers to experience the spirit of Music City before they even leave the terminal.

As part of BNA’s $855 million Concourse A expansion, slated to open in 2028, Fraport USA has assembled a dynamic portfolio of local, regional and national brands designed to reflect the energy, creativity and hospitality that have made Nashville one of the world’s most recognized destinations. The lineup will give passengers more choices to dine, shop, relax and connect while traveling through BNA, while introducing additional ways for the airport to showcase the businesses, music and culture that define Nashville.

“We are so excited to continue to expand on our award-winning concessions program here at BNA,” said Karl Ebert, Vice President of Operations for Fraport Nashville. “The new Concourse A will feature even more of the best restaurants that Nashville has to offer, while also giving travelers a taste of several different cuisine types. We are also thrilled to have two very new and specific retail stores that will highlight the entire Nashville community and the neighborhoods that define the creative culture this city is known for.”

A Taste of Nashville and Beyond

Travelers on Concourse A will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse mix of food, beverage and retail concepts, including:

  • Chief’s: Country music star Eric Church’s iconic Broadway destination will be reimagined as a full-service airport restaurant, bringing the energy, personality and hospitality of one of Nashville’s most recognizable entertainment venues to BNA.
  • Hawkers: The Florida-based Asian street food restaurant will expand its Nashville presence, offering travelers a vibrant menu inspired by the flavors and dishes of Asia.
  • Burger Republic: A Nashville favorite known for gourmet burgers, creative menu offerings and local craft beer will bring its approachable, distinctly local experience to Concourse A.
  • Dunkin’ After Dark: Dunkin’ will make its BNA debut with an innovative new concept that goes beyond the brand’s traditional coffee-and-doughnuts offering. Featuring all-day coffee service alongside a first-of-its-kind bar concept with alcoholic beverages, Dunkin’ After Dark will give travelers an innovative way to experience the iconic brand.
  • Freshens: Travelers looking for fresh, convenient options will find a selection of healthy fast-casual favorites, including acai bowls, flatbreads and salads designed for passengers on the go.
  • Nashville Remix: More than a traditional travel essentials store, Nashville Remix will combine convenient travel necessities with a bottle shop, tasting bar and photo opportunity, giving passengers another chance to take a piece of Nashville with them.
  • Greatest Hits: A music-inspired apparel and gift shop, Greatest Hits will celebrate Nashville’s deep musical roots through merchandise and memorable gifts. The concept will serve as a sister store to Nashville Jam Session at T-Gates, extending BNA’s commitment to telling the story of Music City through its retail program.

Together, the concepts are designed to create a concessions experience that is as varied and energetic as Nashville itself. From iconic local flavors and globally inspired cuisine to music-driven retail and innovative concepts, Concourse A will offer passengers an experience that goes beyond the traditional airport stop.

Expanding the BNA Experience

The concessions program was developed in close collaboration with the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority and is part of Fraport USA’s ongoing commitment to creating memorable, locally relevant experiences for BNA passengers. The brands on Concourse A bring together established Nashville favorites, nationally recognized concepts and innovative offerings, providing a balance of familiar brands and distinctly Music City experiences.

The opening of Concourse A will mark another significant milestone in BNA’s continued growth and transformation. As passenger demand continues to increase, the expansion will provide additional capacity while creating additional opportunities to elevate the traveler experience.

For Fraport USA, that means more than simply adding restaurants and retail locations. The concessions program is intended to make the airport a reflection of the community it serves — giving Nashville businesses a platform to reach millions of travelers while introducing visitors to the city’s distinctive culinary, musical and cultural identity.

The new concepts also complement Fraport USA’s broader concessions strategy at BNA, which focuses on creating a thoughtful mix of local businesses, regional favorites and nationally recognized brands. By bringing together different cuisines, price points, retail experiences and service styles, the program is designed to meet the needs of BNA’s diverse and growing passenger base.

“BNA is often a traveler’s first introduction to Nashville and, for many, their last taste of the city before heading home,” said Ebert. “We want every part of that experience to feel authentic to Nashville. Concourse A gives us an incredible opportunity to build on what we have created at BNA and introduce travelers to even more of the people, businesses, music and creativity that make this city so special.”

The lineup represents another step forward in Fraport USA’s vision for an airport concessions program that is not only convenient for travelers but also connected to the community — making the journey through BNA part of the Nashville experience itself.

The new 2 Silos Brewing Co. is located near Gate B38 at Washington Dulles International Airport
Clyde’s new restaurant is located near Gate D16 at Washington Dulles International Airport

DULLES, VA – Two local dining establishments have opened their first airport locations at Washington Dulles International Airport, offering travelers a taste of regional food and drink specialties at one of the top international travel hubs in the United States. Clyde’s, an American bar and restaurant, and 2 Silos Brewing Co., known for its award-winning beers and delicious food, are now part of the expanding dining scene at IAD, with more exciting additions to come.

Guests recently gathered for double ribbon-cutting ceremonies attended by partners from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Fraport USA, Air Ventures, Clyde’s Restaurant Group, and 2 Silos Brewing Co., all of whom made this occasion possible.

“Clyde’s and 2 Silos Brewing Co. have quickly become great additions to Dulles International’s dining program, giving travelers a chance to enjoy familiar regional favorites while they’re on the go,” said Jaimini Erskine, vice president for marketing and concessions at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. “These restaurants, especially the legendary Clyde’s, are part of our continuing effort to bring more of the region’s distinctive food and beverage offerings to the airport and create a more enjoyable experience for our passengers.”

“It is an honor to welcome Clyde’s and 2 Silos Brewing Co. to our program at Dulles International,” added Dominic Troilo, vice president of Fraport Washington Partnership LLC, the concessions program manager. “The response to these highly regarded local establishments has been overwhelmingly positive. Passengers and airport staff can now experience these true favorites firsthand at the airport, thanks to our partners.”

Clyde’s first opened in 1963 in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Since then, the brand has expanded to 14 locations in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Clyde’s new outpost in Concourse D spans 3,200 square feet and seats 150 guests. It brings its signature hospitality to the airport, offering a welcoming space to relax and enjoy a meal. Open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Clyde’s specializes in American fare, classic burgers, and dishes crafted from quality ingredients. The restaurant is built on the belief that great dining begins with genuine hospitality and an inviting atmosphere.

2 Silos Brewing, located in Concourse B near Gate B38, serves breakfast items, appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees, including its signature tater tots and handhelds with house-made chips. The full-service bar features draft beers, wine, spirits, craft cocktails, and mocktails. The restaurant is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

“We are thrilled to partner with these celebrated brands to bring the best of DC, Maryland, and Virginia to Dulles International,” said Seth Merin, VP of Operations for Air Ventures. “Our shared commitment to excellence and service makes this a natural fit.” Together, the partnerships promise to offer travelers a distinctive and locally rooted dining experience at the airport.”

The new additions at Dulles International are designed to enhance the shopping and dining experiences for travelers as part of its modernization program. Last year, the Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Gatsby joined the airport’s culinary lineup. Soon, the new 435,000-square-foot Concourse E will introduce more local favorites, including Honor Brewing, MurLarkey Distilled Spirits Flights & Bites, Good Company Doughnuts & Café, Ellie Bird, and Aventino.

In 2025, Dulles International reached a milestone by serving a record of over 29 million passengers.

NEW YORK – This summer, travelers at Terminal 5 of John F. Kennedy International Airport can enjoy a range of new dining and shopping experiences, part of a multimillion-dollar refresh led by JetBlue, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and Fraport USA. Once complete, the terminal will feature over 40 new shops, restaurants, communal spaces, and art installations inspired by New York City and its boroughs.

To date, the Fraport New York team has welcomed nearly a dozen new arrivals. “At Terminal 5, we are creating more than an airport experience. We are creating a place that reflects the spirit of New York,” said Jose Cuevas, vice president, Fraport New York, who is leading the concessions development. “The refresh is transforming the terminal offering exceptional dining and retail experiences, art, entertainment, and thoughtfully designed gathering spaces thatcome together to foster discovery, comfort, and connection.”

In June alone, they celebrated the grand openings of several highly anticipated venues, including the renowned Italian food destination Eataly and distinctive New York culinary experiences like Nom Wah and The Halal Guys.

Eataly unveiled a grand 3,800-square-foot restaurant, wine bar, and grab-and-go marketplace. The venue celebrates authentic Italian food and wine culture. In partnership with the Metropolitan Opera, the opening featured live performances by distinguished artists, showcasing works by Giacomo Puccini and Giuseppe Verdi. The program also included Leonard Bernstein’s beloved “Maria” from West Side Story.

Nom Wah is a charming 3,500-square-foot restaurant and bar that transports travelers to a vintage dim sum parlor reminiscent of the 1920s. The restaurant originally opened in Manhattan’s Chinatown in 1920. Nom Wah is recognized as the city’s oldest continuously operating dim sum restaurant. It is known for its handmade dumplings and classic dishes.

The Halal Guys, a beloved Midtown food spot, started as a street cart and gained fame for its halal chicken and gyro platters served with pita bread and the signature white sauce.

“Congratulations to JetBlue and Fraport USA for providing passengers with an authentic taste of New York as part of the $100 million refresh of JetBlue’s flagship terminal,” said JFK International Airport General Manager Teresa Rizzuto. “The addition of Eataly, Nom Wah Tea Parlor and The Halal Guys align with the Port Authority’s vision for a new JFK with a uniquely New York experience that will become an enjoyable part of the passenger journey.”

In the coming months, look for more unique experiences from a range of NYC brands. “Each new opening of our Terminal 5 refresh brings another flavor of our hometown for our customers to explore. We’re so proud to celebrate the variety New York offers while giving our customers more choices to love, improving their experience even before takeoff,” said Stephanie Evans Greene, senior vice president, marketing and brand at JetBlue.

In T5, travelers can now enjoy iconic dishes from Leon’s Bagels, Jacob’s Pickles, Melt Shop, Dunkin’, and Shake Shack. The new retail offerings include InMotion, Park Emporium, and Gameway, an immersive gaming and relaxation lounge.

The transformation of the central concourse is nearing completion. The redesign aims to create a vibrant space inspired by the city’s iconic parks. This area will include dedicated spaces for pop-up experiences, interactive events, and live performances that celebrate the city’s cultural heritage. The new gathering space, called Central Node Park, is expected to be completed in September.

“As new elements continue to come online, Terminal 5 is evolving into one of the most distinctive customer experiences in aviation. It is becoming a destination travelers will want to experience, not simply a place to pass through,” added Mr. Cuevas.

The original Busboys and Poets, located at 14th and V Streets NW in the historic U Street Corridor, was founded in 2005 by local artist-restaurateur Andy Shallal. Guests can enjoy an all-day menu that features vegan and vegetarian options. The restaurant and bar, which spans 1,200 square feet, offers a welcoming ambiance for dining. For those seeking a quick bite, the 844-square-foot express counter offers convenient carry-out. Founder Andy Shallal stated, “Busboys and Poets is a place where great food is served in an environment that celebrates art, culture, and community. We look forward to sharing the spirit and values of Busboys and Poets with visitors from around the world.”

The new restaurant is part of an expanding selection of local offerings in the reimagined concessions program at DCA. Other recent arrivals include Colada Shop, Atlas Brew Works, Zeke’s Coffee, and Lucky Buns. Soon, Wiseguy Pizza will serve D.C.’s favorite slices in Concourse C.
