Denitza Weismantel
Denitza Weismantel serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Fraport USA Inc., shaping the company’s strategic direction and operations in the United States. She is also a member of the management team of Fraport AG’s Global Investments & Management Division, where she oversees a portfolio of airports handling more than 40 million passengers annually. Denitza leads strategic business development across North America, Eastern Europe, and Asia, and represents Fraport AG as Chairwoman or member of various supervisory boards within the Group.
Denitza joined Fraport in 2015 as Project Director, bringing with her extensive experience from international consulting, where she led strategy and transaction projects across multiple industries and markets. She holds degrees in Business Administration from J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt and in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales, Bangor.
Holger Schaefers
Holger Schaefers serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Fraport USA Inc. and supports the company’s strategic directions with his know-how of the industry. Holger also heads the Global Investments & Management division of Fraport, where he is responsible for steering and further developing Fraport’s international investment and consultancy portfolio. In this role, he oversees the contribution of the international investment portfolio to the consolidated EBITDA of the Fraport Group of more than 550 Mio. € and takes responsibility vis-à-vis the board for meeting strategic development goals. Holger represents Fraport on various supervisory boards within the Group as chairman or member. He brings extensive executive experience from senior management roles at international airports, spanning business development, finance, commercial operations, and general management.
Holger joined Fraport in 2007, after building an international professional background in real estate consulting and investment in Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. He holds degrees in Business Administration from the European Business School (Germany) and in Real Estate from Georgia State University, Atlanta (USA).
