As one of Fraport USA’s newest airports, Eero Saarinen’s breakthrough airport design is being refreshed with a brilliant new array of shopping, dining and engaging passenger experiences that will cater to the international traveler.

Beginning in January 2024, Fraport USA began a ten-year contract to lease, develop and manage the concessions programs at Washington Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

The concession programs will focus on further enhancing the airport experience for passengers by leveraging the uniqueness of this capital region. As part of the approach, Fraport USA is committed to supporting small businesses from the region and the inclusion of a diverse range of vendors to cater to a wider audience.

Our ongoing transformation includes:
  • Metropolitan Washington Airport’s Authority’s addition of an entirely new concourse currently under construction, including an expanded concession
    program developed by Fraport Washington Partnership LLC.
  • In addition to the new concourse, travelers can look forward to new concession locations in the existing concourses with a full program
    redevelopment underway.
  • A broader range of local concepts, showcasing the region’s culinary scene, with local restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques offering a taste of
    the area’s culture. Fraport Washington Partnership LLC’s redevelopment includes both expanding existing spaces and introducing innovative new outlets that cater to varying passenger preferences, from quick-service options to sit-down dining experiences.
