Fraport Maryland welcomes Stellar Partners to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport

Leading airport retailer brings new shopping experiences to BWI Marshall

BALTIMORE – Travelers, look out for a new shopping experience at BWI Marshall Airport. Stellar Partners, Inc. (“Stellar”), a leading airport retailer, is opening three new stores:  Baltimore’s iconic White House Black Market brand, athleisure brand Marika’s first brick and mortar store, and Stellar News, which will be locally operated by Stellar and Morgan Group Ventures, Inc. (MGV) as part of a joint venture.

“We’re dedicated to bringing the BWI Marshall traveler shopping options that make for a quality experience,” said Brett Kelly, vice president, Fraport Maryland, developer and manager of the airport’s retail program. “Part of the reason we chose Stellar and MGV was because of the great brand partnerships and operations experience they have. We’re extremely proud to introduce Stellar to the program and equally excited bring these new brands to the BWI lineup.”

  • Now open in the A/B food court, Marika, the original athleisure brand, offers a variety of stylish yoga-inspired apparel and accessories for men and women. Spanning 1,058 square feet, this is also Marika’s first store in a travel retail format, offering an exclusive shopping experience. Hours are 4:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • In March, the premier travel convenience brand Stellar News will open a new 1,259 square-foot news and gift store in the A/B food court.
  • And in April, White House Black Market will feature fashions and on-trend pieces for women with a polished sense of style. Located in the A/B food court, the new 966 square-foot store will also carry selections of Soma intimates.

“This retail offering is designed specifically with the BWI Marshall Airport traveler in mind. The Stellar team is passionate about providing top brands and exceptional customer service in our expanding collection of stores, which is why joining the BWI Airport family is such an exciting milestone for Stellar,” said Stellar President and CEO Padraig Drennan. “We thank Fraport USA and the Maryland Aviation Administration for the opportunity to serve the airport’s growing passenger base.”
