16 Locations in BOS Terminals B and E now offer untethered mobile device chargers

BOSTON, July 12, 2016 – AIRMALL at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) has partnered with Oomf—a dynamic, Boston-born startup—to provide travelers with a convenient way to charge their mobile devices for free, without having to congregate near an outlet. Oomf compact chargers are powerful, portable devices available at 14 restaurants and bars in BOS Terminals B and E, as well as two Be Relax spas in Terminal B, for a truly untethered charging experience.

“We are always seeking new ways to enhance the traveling experience,” said Michael Caro, vice president of AIRMALL Boston. “Offering complimentary Oomf portable chargers gives our passengers peace of mind and greater flexibility with ready access to wireless power. Anyone in need of a quick boost can request an Oomf portable charger from any of the 16 BOS PowerHouses. A brief visit to activates the free charge and displays an interactive airport map with shopping and dining options. Keep the Oomf charger for up to 24 hours, and simply return it to its native PowerHouse to avoid any charges.

“Connecting with an industry that is fundamentally linked to mobility and innovation was instinctive for us,” said James Riel, co-founder and CEO of Oomf Inc. “We are excited to provide Boston’s adventurers and globetrotting professionals with a reliable, mobile charging solution.”
