AIRMALL® at BWI and Borders Announce Additional April Book Signings

Authors of Narrative Nonfiction, Military-Themed Novels and Poetry to Hold Signings at Airport

BALTIMORE, April 22, 2010– BAA Maryland, developer of the AIRMALL® at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) will welcome several authors who will be conducting book signings through the remainder of April at Borders, located in the airport’s Terminal A/B, Southwest Airlines.

On Tuesday, April 27, Chris White, a writer and naturalist specializing in narrative nonfiction, will be signing copies of Skipjack, The Story of America’s Last Sailing Oystermen from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The following two book signings are scheduled for Friday, April 30:

  • Capt. Edward Brittingham, a retired U.S. Navy officer and author of military-themed fiction and nonfiction, will sign copies of Sub Chasers, Operation Poppy, The Iranian Deception and Terrorism in the United States, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Rique Johnson, a writer and poet based in Springfield, Va., will sign copies of his thrilling novels Love & Justice, A Dangerous Return, Whispers from a Troubled Heart and Every Woman’s Man, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
