AIRMALL® at BWI and Borders to Host Four Local Authors for Three Days of Book Signings in September

BALTIMORE, September 3, 2009 – BAA Maryland, developer of the AIRMALL® at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), will welcome four local authors for a series of book signings in September 2009 at the Borders bookstore located in the airport’s Terminal A/B.

On September 4, 2009, Capt. Edward Brittingham, a retired U.S. Navy officer and author of military-themed fiction and nonfiction, will sign copies of Sub Chasers, Operation Poppy, The Iranian Deception and Terrorism in the United States, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

On September 11, 2009, Bobbie Hinman, a writer from Bel Air, Md., will sign copies of The Bellybutton Fairy, The Knot Fairy and The Sock Fairy from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Hinman is an author of enchantingly illustrated fables about the magical interaction between children and fairies.

Two book signings are scheduled for September 18, 2009:

  • Rique Johnson, a Springfield, Va., -based writer and poet, will sign copies of his thrilling novels Love & Justice, A Dangerous Return, Whispers from a Troubled Heart, and Every Woman’s Man, from 9 a.m. to noon.
  • William Logan will sign copies of his novel Future Spy, a spy caper in which a strange storm off the coast of Norfolk, Va., propels a skipper and his vessel into the middle of World War II espionage. The book signing is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
