Airport Wireless/palm at Boston Logan International Wins Top Honors in Airport Revenue News’ 2006 Best Concessions Poll

BOSTON, February 28, 2006 – Airport Wireless/palm at Boston Logan International airport has won awards for “Best Retail Specialty Brand Operator” and “Best Overall Airport Retailer” in Airport Revenue News’ (ARN) 2006 Best Concessions Poll. With three locations in the airport, including one in Terminal B managed by BAA Boston, Airport Wireless/palm is a proven hit, accessible to all who travel through the airport.

“Airport Wireless/palm has been a great addition to our AIRMALL®,” said Mike Caro, Vice President of BAA Boston. “We aim to bring stores to the AIRMALL® that will meet customers’ needs, and Airport Wireless/palm has lived up to this expectation.”

BAA Boston was selected in 2003 to manage and develop 84,000 sq. ft. of new and refurbished concession space in Terminals B and D/E. Airport Wireless/palm is one of many successful concepts BAA Boston has added to Logan’s AIRMALL®.

“It is very satisfying to see one of our stores do so well in Airport Revenue News’ Best Concessions Poll,” said Thomas Kinton, Massport Director of Aviation. “Only top retailers receive awards in ARN’s contest and this shows what an excellent job BAA has done filling the airport space with successful, quality retailers.”

Airport Revenue News is a monthly magazine that focuses on news and information regarding airport revenue sources and all things airport related. Winners of ARN’s Annual Best Concessions Poll were announced at the ARN 2006 Airport Revenue Conference, held in Las Vegas February 19 – 21.
