BALTIMORE – January 31, 2006 – BAA Maryland announced the opening of The Body Shop and Candy Express this month. They join a line-up of well-respected stores in the AIRMALL® at Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Since the opening of the new A/B Terminal at BWI nearly a year ago, BAA Maryland has introduced a plethora of national and regional brands for travelers’ shopping and dining enjoyment.
“The Body Shop and Candy Express are both well-known national brands, making them great additions to our AIRMALL®,” said Mark Knight, President of BAA Maryland. “We work hard to bring quality brands to BWI and these two stores are certainly no exception.”
Located in the A/B Terminal, The Body Shop offers travelers a wide array of products, from body lotions, shampoos, and conditioners, to aromatherapy, make up, and much more. The Body Shop has something for everyone, and with a focus on environmentally-friendly products, everyone can feel good about their purchases.
In Concourse D, Candy Express serves as a one-stop goodies shop, where travelers can satisfy their cravings with ready-to-eat indulgent foods, candies, and everything else a sweet tooth could possibly want. The two new additions at the AIRMALL® are part of an ongoing project by BAA Maryland to transform the concessions program at BWI.
