‘Tis the season for PIT’s Holiday Open House, Saturday, Dec. 7

Public invited for a day filled with holiday cheer featuring live music, activities for the family, exclusive shopping & dining deals, and more

WHAT: Saturday, Dec. 7, Pittsburgh International Airport and Fraport USA once again invite the public to the airside terminal for a day filled with holiday cheer. An annual tradition, the Holiday Open House brings attractions for the entire family with live music, special treats, and a sled full of shopping and dining deals – plus free parking validation.

Starting at 10 a.m., the little ones can enjoy face painting with Cindy and make gift tags and wrap with the Children’s Museum, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Strolling Dickens’ carolers will fill the concourses with the sounds of the season, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while LoveBettie takes center stage with cheery holiday jingles from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Pittsburgh Penguins mascot Iceburgh also returns at 11 a.m. to mingle with guests.

Nearly 40 shops and restaurants will offer their best holiday shopping deals, free goodies, and gifts with purchases throughout the day. Complimentary tastings range from eggnog, hot cocoa, chocolate pretzels, donut sticks, and more. Make your own macarons at Gaby et Jules, meet the Chick-fil-A cow for a free cookie, or win a gift basket from McDonald’s. There’s even more.
