Campeón Soccer Arrives at AIRMALL Boston

New Soccer Store Kicks Off Operations at Logan International Airport

BOSTON, Oct. 17, 2016 – Soccer fans traveling through the AIRMALL at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) now have a one-stop shop for all their favorite team gear and equipment at Campeón Soccer in Terminal B, one of the first major soccer retailers in a U.S. airport and the first Hispanic-owned business in the terminal.

“AIRMALL is pleased to welcome Campeón Soccer to our program at Logan Airport,” said Michael Caro, vice president, AIRMALL Boston. “It is great to be bringing in another locally owned concept. This store will surely add to the assortment and draw the attention of our passengers from around the world and local soccer fans alike!”

The Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Access and Opportunity, Jabes Rojas, and Nam Pham, Assistant Secretary of Mass. Business Development & International Trade office, joined AIRMALL and Massport representatives, members of the soccer community and Campeón owner Javier Marin for the store’s grand opening on Friday, October 14.

Based in Chelsea, Mass., Campeón Soccer offers gear from national teams and major clubs for soccer enthusiasts in New England and a wide range of equipment. In addition to World Cup merchandise, Campeón’s airport lineup includes soccer team and club uniforms and various accessories and pennants.
